No wiring is required for this battery powered Wireless Door Chime Kit. When the push button is pressed it sends a wireless signal to the door chime unit that activates the chime. Mount or take the door chime virtually anywhere in your home
Available in White or Charcoal finish.
- Up to 320 foot operating range, line of sight.
- 75 db "Ding Dong" door chime unit operates on three "C" batteries, not included.
- Push button is IP44 Rated for outdoor wet locations and includes two Lithium batteries.
- System features 16 selectable radio transmitter frequencies.
- Unit features electro-mechanically operated chime.
- Transmission range will be reduced if the signal is transmitted through a number of walls or ceilings.
Note: Metal and UPVC door frames will reduce operating range. Three "C" batteries are required.

very good wireless doorbell
This is one of the best wireless doorbells I have ever found as most wireless doorbells I have purchased in the past are pure junk. The doorbell transmitter is sealed and good for moist location which is where most wireless doorbells begin to fail. Also, this unit has REAL door chimes....not a speaker with a recording which is a nice touch. On the negative side, the range is shortened when the signal has to go through a metal door...I did need to reposition the receiver (chime) a little closer.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
